Bolt.Earth, India’s largest EV charging network, has announced a strategic collaboration with MapmyIndia (MMI) to improve access to electric vehicle charging infrastructure for four-wheeler EV users across the country.
Under the partnership, MapmyIndia users will now be able to directly discover Bolt.Earth’s Level 2 (L2) and DC fast chargers within the MMI app, enhancing visibility for charger owners and improving convenience for EV drivers. The integration also extends Bolt.Earth’s charging network beyond its own platform, enabling broader discoverability across multiple navigation and mapping services.
The companies have integrated approximately 350 Level 2 and Level 3 chargers through the Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) protocol. The collaboration also involves API sharing and system integration to ensure seamless access to charging points across platforms.
With this initiative, MapmyIndia users will gain access to more than 18,000 EV chargers across India, including Bolt.Earth’s 2W, 3W, and 4W charging infrastructure.
Speaking on the development, Mohit Yadav, Founder of Bolt.Earth, said the partnership strengthens India’s EV ecosystem by improving charger visibility and supporting wider EV adoption through greater accessibility.
Sapna Ahuja, President – Automotive Business & COO at MapmyIndia, stated that the integration aims to make EV charging infrastructure more discoverable and user-friendly while expanding access to charging networks across India.
The collaboration marks another step toward building a more connected EV charging ecosystem in India, supporting the broader transition toward clean mobility.
