Komaki Electric Vehicles has expanded its electric two-wheeler portfolio with the launch of the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ electric scooters, priced at ₹73,999 and ₹79,999, respectively.

The new models feature an all-metal body, a design element that is uncommon in the affordable electric scooter segment, offering enhanced durability and structural strength compared to conventional fibre-bodied alternatives.

The MG Pro V offers a certified riding range of 90–100 km on a single charge, while the MG Pro+ delivers a range of over 150 km, making the scooters suitable for both daily commuting and extended urban travel.

Both scooters are powered by a BLDC hub motor paired with LiFePO4 battery technology, designed to provide reliable performance, longer battery life and reduced maintenance requirements.

The scooters are equipped with features including mobile app connectivity for battery and range monitoring, front disc brakes, telescopic suspension, anti-theft lock, parking assist, repair switch and a spacious riding platform. The MG Pro+ also offers increased under-seat storage capacity.

Commenting on the launch, Gunjan Malhotra, Co-founder of Komaki Electric Vehicles, said:

“The electric two-wheeler market has grown rapidly, but affordability should never come at the cost of quality. With the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, we wanted to offer customers features that have traditionally been associated with more expensive vehicles. These include a strong metal body and safe, long-lasting LiFePO4 batteries with a longer lifespan than those found in many electric two-wheelers and ICE vehicles currently available in the market. This combination inspires confidence among customers. It also reflects our commitment to making premium build quality, dependable performance, and modern technology accessible to a much wider audience. We believe customers deserve products that not only look good but are built to withstand everyday Indian road conditions.”

With the launch of the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, Komaki aims to strengthen its presence in India’s affordable electric mobility market by offering electric scooters that combine durability, extended range and technology-driven features at competitive price points.
