VinFast has officially launched its all-electric VF MPV 7 in the Philippines, marking the third international market for the model and reinforcing the company’s push toward global expansion in electric mobility.
Announced in Manila on May 5, 2026, the seven-seater electric MPV is positioned as a family-oriented vehicle designed to balance space, performance, and cost efficiency. The VF MPV 7 is priced at PHP 1,518,000 for the battery-included version, while a battery subscription model is available at PHP 1,239,000, offering customers greater flexibility.
VinFast’s subscription plan is structured around usage, with monthly fees set at PHP 2,700 for distances up to 2,000 km and PHP 4,150 for higher usage. As part of a limited-time promotion running until May 31, 2026, the first 1,000 customers will receive one year of free battery subscription for up to 2,000 km per month. Buyers opting for the full purchase model will benefit from a direct discount of PHP 27,200.
The VF MPV 7 enters a competitive segment that accounts for nearly 20% of total automotive sales in the Philippines. Designed with a focus on practicality, the vehicle measures 4,740 mm in length and offers a 2,840 mm wheelbase, ensuring spacious interiors suitable for multi-generational families. The cabin is optimized for comfort across all three rows, with a cargo capacity of up to 1,240 liters.
In terms of performance, the VF MPV 7 is powered by a 150 kW electric motor delivering 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 60.13 kWh battery. It offers a driving range of up to 450 km on a full charge under NEDC standards. Fast-charging capability enables the battery to charge from 10% to 70% in approximately 30 minutes.
VinFast is also emphasizing affordability in long-term ownership. The company states that energy costs for the VF MPV 7 remain significantly lower than those of gasoline-powered vehicles in the same category. Customers will also benefit from free charging at V-Green stations across the Philippines until March 2029.
Additional ownership incentives include a 7-year or 160,000 km vehicle warranty and a 10-year or 200,000 km battery warranty, positioning the VF MPV 7 among the most competitively supported vehicles in its segment.
Antonio Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia, said the launch represents a key milestone in the company’s international strategy and reflects its long-term commitment to the Philippine market. He added that the VF MPV 7 is expected to set a new benchmark in the MPV category with its combination of space, performance, and sustainable value.
Alongside the launch, VinFast continues to expand its dealership and aftersales network in the Philippines, aiming to strengthen its broader electric mobility ecosystem and accelerate EV adoption across the region.
