Ola Electric has announced its ‘Ola Sona Weekend’ campaign to celebrate the auspicious festival of Akshaya Tritiya, offering customers benefits worth up to ₹50,000 across its electric vehicle portfolio.
As part of the limited-time festive offer valid on April 18 and 19, the company is introducing exclusive discounts, financing benefits, and a chance to win a unique gold-themed electric scooter. The highlight of the campaign is the limited-edition Ola S1 Pro “Sona”, featuring real 24-karat gold-plated elements, blending luxury with electric mobility innovation.
Customers purchasing during the promotional window can avail discounts of up to ₹40,000 across Ola’s EV lineup, along with additional credit card EMI benefits worth ₹10,000 from major banks including HDFC, HSBC, and Bank of Baroda. The company is also offering an extended warranty of up to eight years on all products.
Among the standout deals, the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh electric motorcycle is being offered at a discounted price of ₹1,39,999, down from ₹1,89,999. The offer is available in limited units during specific purchase hours between 6 PM and 9 PM on both days. Buyers will also receive a complimentary extended warranty.
In addition, entry-level models like the Gen 3 S1 X (2 kWh) and Roadster X (2.5 kWh) are being made available at a starting price of ₹49,999, making electric mobility more accessible during the festive period.
According to an Ola Electric spokesperson, the campaign reflects the spirit of prosperity and new beginnings associated with Akshaya Tritiya, while reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering innovative and premium EV experiences. The spokesperson also highlighted strong consumer demand driven by confidence in Ola’s vertically integrated EV platform and in-house technology.
The special edition “Sona” scooter also introduces a unique “Sona Mood,” offering a gold-themed digital interface via the MoveOS dashboard and Ola app, allowing users to personalize ride settings for a premium experience.
The company further announced the extension of the purchase window for the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh, powered by its indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell. The price reduction is attributed to economies of scale achieved at its Gigafactory and deeper vertical integration.
Recently, Ola Electric also launched the S1 X+ 5.2 kWh variant, aimed at bringing long-range EV technology to the mass market at an introductory price of ₹1,29,999.
With aggressive pricing, festive offers, and premium innovations, Ola Electric is aiming to accelerate EV adoption and strengthen its market position during the festive buying season.
