Cygnus Motors LLP has achieved a significant milestone in India’s electric mobility sector with the receipt of the CMVR Certification for its first electric tractor model, the OORJA C220EE. The certification was conferred by the Global Automotive Research Centre (GARC), a unit of NATRiP under the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
The certificate was formally handed over to Mr. Deep Dhingani by Dr. A. S. Ramadhas, in the presence of senior industry figures including Mr. Viraj Vachhani, Mr. Ramakrishnan A.G., Mr. Bheema Rao B.R., and Ms. Rajrajeshwari.
THE Certification marks the official homologation of Cygnus Motors’ electric tractor, a development that underscores the company’s commitment to advancing clean and efficient mobility solutions in Indian agriculture.
Company representatives expressed their gratitude to the GARC team for their support, as well as to the Cygnus Motors workforce for their dedication. Special acknowledgment was also extended to Dhruvin Patel and Devang Vachhani for their contributions in facilitating the achievement.
Cygnus Motors indicated that this is only the beginning, with a series of new electric tractor models expected to be launched in the near future as part of its mission to empower farmers and drive sustainable growth in the agriculture sector.
