TVS Motor Reports 10% Sales Growth in February 2025, Driven by Strong EV and Export Performance

TVS Motor Company recorded a robust 10% year-on-year growth in February 2025, with total sales reaching 403,976 units, up from 368,424 units in February 2024. The growth was primarily fueled by strong two-wheeler sales, rising demand for electric vehicles (EVs), and a sharp increase in exports.

Two-Wheeler Sales Surge

TVS Motor’s two-wheeler segment saw a 10% increase, with sales climbing from 357,810 units in February 2024 to 391,889 units in February 2025. Domestic two-wheeler sales posted a modest 3% rise, reaching 276,072 units from 267,502 units the previous year.

Motorcycle sales grew by 5%, rising from 184,023 units to 192,960 units. Meanwhile, the scooter segment witnessed an impressive 24% growth, with sales increasing from 132,152 units in February 2024 to 164,415 units in February 2025.

Electric Vehicles Accelerate Growth

The company’s electric vehicle division continued its upward momentum, recording a 34% growth. EV sales surged from 17,959 units in February 2024 to 24,017 units in February 2025, reflecting growing consumer preference for sustainable mobility solutions.

Strong Export Performance

TVS Motor’s international business saw remarkable growth, with total exports surging by 26% to 124,993 units, compared to 98,856 units in February 2024. Two-wheeler exports alone registered a 28% increase, reaching 115,817 units from 90,308 units last year.

Three-Wheeler Sales on the Rise

The three-wheeler segment also recorded a healthy 14% growth, with sales increasing from 10,614 units in February 2024 to 12,087 units in February 2025.

With a steady rise across key segments, TVS Motor continues to strengthen its position in the automotive industry, leveraging innovation, international expansion, and a focus on electric mobility.
