Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Motech Automotive Service Centers to expand its after-sales service network in the Philippines. The partnership aims to establish 63 Motech workshops as authorized VinFast service centers, ensuring comprehensive repair, warranty, and maintenance services for VinFast EV owners.
The agreement aligns with VinFast’s strategy to accelerate green transformation and address the increasing demand for electric vehicles in the country. The company also plans to establish over 100 service workshops nationwide by the end of the year.
Under the collaboration, Motech’s service workshops will be upgraded to meet VinFast’s standards in facilities, equipment, and personnel training. VinFast will provide technical guidance and training to Motech staff, ensuring high-quality service as the volume of EVs in the country rises.
