Launched in 2022, the Kia EV6 GT elevates the electric performance benchmark with a larger 84 kWh battery, enhanced power, and innovative features like Launch Control. This performance-oriented system optimizes power delivery and traction, enabling the EV6 GT to deliver up to 650 horsepower in Launch Control mode and 609 horsepower in GT Mode, accessible via a dedicated button on the steering wheel. The EV6 GT accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and boasts a top speed of 260 km/h, making it Kia’s most powerful production vehicle to date.

With a range of up to 450 km and 550 km in city conditions, the EV6 GT pairs power with endurance. Its advanced Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) system ensures a smooth, stable ride, while features like Virtual Gear Shift, Active Sound Design, and Drive Modes—including Eco, Normal, Sport, My Drive, and GT Mode—offer a customizable driving experience. Sound-absorbing materials and AI-optimized motor noise reduction enhance cabin comfort.

The 800-volt fast-charging system charges the battery from 10-80% in just 18 minutes via DC fast charging. Access to over 800,000 charging points in 28 European countries is available through Kia Charge. Safety and convenience are bolstered by the same advanced driver assistance systems as Kia’s EV9 flagship SUV.

Exclusive GT design elements include neon green accents on the steering wheel, suede bucket seats, and brake calipers, along with redesigned bumpers, grille, and Kia Starmap daytime running lights. Inside, the double 12.3-inch display screen features GT-exclusive graphics, while ambient lighting adds a premium touch to the driving environment. “As Kia puts more electric vehicles on the road, we continue to consider driver engagement, excitement, and experience, with the new EV6 GT adding an extra level for driving enthusiasts, to make every journey memorable,” said Marc Hedrich, President, and CEO at Kia Europe. “There is a strong demand for GT versions of our award-winning vehicles, and we hope to expand this range in the future.”
