EMotorad, a leader in electric mobility innovation, has announced the launch of the T-Rex Pro, India’s first e-cycle featuring a fully integrated handlebar equipped with indicators, a flashlight function, a horn, and an LCD display. The e-cycle is priced at an introductory rate of ₹52,999, with a maximum retail price (MRP) of ₹79,999.
Sumedh Battewar, Chief Business Officer and Co-founder of EMotorad, highlighted the T-Rex Pro’s innovative design, stating, “Innovation is at the core of every product we build at EMotorad, and T-Rex Pro is the perfect testimony for this. It’s India’s first and only e-cycle with fully integrated rear and front indicators that boast headlights with flashlight function.” He emphasized that the e-cycle sets a new benchmark in metallurgy and mechanical engineering.
The T-Rex Pro offers features designed to enhance safety and user experience. It includes fully integrated front and rear lights, adjustable high and low beam settings, a rear light with built-in indicators, and a brake light. Its sleek handlebar-integrated LCD provides real-time updates on speed, battery life, and pedal assist modes, creating a user-friendly interface for riders.
With a premium finish akin to luxury cars, the T-Rex Pro is available in three colors: Deep Purple, Spring Green, and Ocean Blue, each featuring a pearl finish that shines in sunlight.
Mechanical and Electronic Features
The e-cycle is built on a robust Aluminium Alloy 6061 frame, offering a lifetime warranty on all frames. Riders can choose between two wheel sizes, 27.5” and 29”, catering to different riding preferences. The bike features mechanical disc brakes with an auto cut-off feature for enhanced safety and a 7-speed Shimano Altus gear system for smooth gear shifts.
Powered by a 250W rear hub motor and a 36V 13Ah lithium-ion battery, the T-Rex Pro provides an impressive range of up to 70 km on pedal assist mode and 45 km on throttle mode. Riders can select from five pedal assist modes to adapt to various terrains. Charging the battery takes approximately 4-6 hours, and the e-cycle supports a maximum weight of up to 110 kg, suitable for riders between 5’5″ and 5’11”.
Availability
The T-Rex Pro is currently available for pre-booking on the EMotorad website, with the 27.5” version priced at ₹52,999 and the 29” version at ₹53,999. It will also be available on platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, as well as through offline retail stores.
