Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) launched the sporty entry SUV, EXTER, with Dual Cylinder CNG at a starting price of INR 8,50,300. The EXTER Hy-CNG Duo offers the convenience of running on both petrol and CNG, providing customers with high fuel efficiency and ample boot space for travel enthusiasts.
The SUV is powered by a 1.2L Bi-Fuel (Petrol with CNG) engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, delivering a fuel efficiency of 27.1 Km/kg (ARAI Tested). To ensure maximum safety, it features a company-fitted CNG system with an Integrated Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for a seamless drive experience when switching between petrol and CNG.
The EXTER Hy-CNG Duo maximizes practical boot space, catering to the travel needs of customers. It is equipped with numerous features such as a Smart Electric Sunroof, LED DRLs and LED tail lamps, Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC), a 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system, and more. Additionally, the SUV boasts advanced safety features like 6 airbags, TPMS highline, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), and more. The EXTER Hy-CNG (Single Cylinder) variant will also be available to customers.
