Hyundai Motor has announced the production of refreshed i30 family which will feature updates in design and technology. Available in hatchback, fastback, and wagon body styles, the i30 lineup offers ample options for customers. The latest i30 boasts upgraded connectivity technologies and comfort features, enhancing its competitiveness and delivering added value to customers.

The new i30 has an expanded array of Hyundai Smart Sense safety features as standard. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) aids in identifying and averting potential collisions with objects ahead. Lane Following Assist (LFA) ensures safer highway driving by keeping the vehicle within its lane, while Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA) alerts the driver if the vehicle surpasses the speed limit with audible and visual warnings. For additional precaution, customers can also go for Junction Turning to enhance FCA, particularly beneficial during left turns at junctions. Another optional safety feature, Highway Driving Assist (HDA) 1.5, regulates the vehicle’s distance from the one ahead, automatically adjusts speed based on limits and curves, and maintains lane position.

Equipped with enhanced convenience features, the new i30 is designed to cater to a wide range of drivers. Interior and boot LED lights have been incorporated for improved visibility. Front and rear parking sensors, known as Parking Distance Warning (PDW), come standard, alerting drivers to obstacles when maneuvering at low speeds.

For improved fuel efficiency, customers can select a powertrain equipped with a 48V mild hybrid system. This system supplements the combustion engine by providing electric power during various driving phases, including starting, accelerating, and regenerating.

Production of the new i30 is slated to commence in April 2024 at Hyundai’s manufacturing facility in NoÅ¡ovice, Czech Republic.
