Telangana is ushering in a new era of sustainable transportation with the introduction of 22 eco-friendly Non-AC electric buses from Olectra.
These buses, part of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation’s larger order of 500 e-buses, are poised to make a significant impact on the state’s roads.
In a ceremony attended by Telangana Deputy CM Shri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Transport Minister Shri Ponnam Prabhakar, Roads and Buildings Minister Shri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and TSRTC Managing Director Shri V.C. Sajjanar, the buses were inaugurated and set off on their maiden journey.
With a focus on providing a comfortable ride while championing environmental sustainability, these zero-emission vehicles mark a step forward in the state’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and fostering a greener future.
