These connected car variants contribute over 44% to Kia India’s overall domestic dispatches, setting a benchmark within the industry. Notably, Kia India’s connected car variants are experiencing rapid growth at a CAGR of 30.9%, surpassing the global growth forecast of 18% by 2032.
Leading the charge is the Seltos, which accounts for 65% of Kia’s total connected car sales. Customer preference overwhelmingly favors Seltos models equipped with connected car features, constituting 57% of all Seltos units sold. Following closely is the Carens, with 31% of its customers opting for connected car variants. Despite telematics being available in only 7 variants of the Sonet currently, these models contribute a significant 21% to total Sonet sales. Kia consistently leads in integrating advanced connected car functionalities into their vehicles.
Among the most beloved features are:
- Hinglish Commands: Users can access car features through Hinglish commands like “Sunroof Kholo,” enhancing convenience.
- Remote Window Control: Allows users to operate car windows remotely.
- Remote Engine and AC Start: Keeps the car ready and at a comfortable temperature, ready to be driven.
- Valet Mode: Restricts access to your AVNT, ensuring privacy.
