Haryana-based EV-CO, a new entrant in the Indian electric vehicle market, has positioned itself as a modern electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer. Currently, the company produces approximately 5,000 EVs monthly, comprising two-wheelers and three-wheelers falling under the L3 and L5 categories, featuring customized battery solutions. Expanding its offerings, EV-CO is in the process of developing four-wheelers to broaden its product range and provide more options to eco-conscious consumers.

As a self-funded entity, EV-CO operates a cutting-edge manufacturing facility covering 80,000 sq. ft, equipped with advanced technology and machinery. The company benefits from a team with a cumulative manufacturing experience of three decades, giving it a competitive edge in a sector projected to reach a market value of USD 113.99 billion by 2029.

With the backing of a team of engineers and promoters, the company focuses on creating top-tier, technologically advanced automobiles that address the evolving requirements of EV riders. Positioned as a new player refining its Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, EV-CO aims to enhance customer value and contribute to making India an EV manufacturing hub under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, as stated in a media release.

Co-founders Kanav Gupta and Karan Gupta express their vision, emphasizing the goal of challenging the perception that electric vehicles are beyond the reach of the common people. They aspire to position EVs as modern mobility solutions, making sustainable transportation more accessible through innovation and high-quality EVs.

EV-CO, set to deploy 2,000 EVs this year, has established an exclusive partnership with Delhi-based NBFC, Accelerated Money For U (AMU), for EV financing. This collaboration enables EV-CO to offer a comprehensive solution to customers, integrating EV manufacturing with specialized servicing and tailored financing options.

The EV manufacturer is actively working on expanding and improving its product lineup while considering strategic collaborations to strengthen its presence in the EV sector, according to the released information.
