Vedanta group subsidiary Hindustan Zinc announced a collaboration with Inland EV Green Services to deploy 10 electric trucks, emphasizing their commitment to environmentally friendly practices.
The initiative focuses on minimizing carbon emissions and supporting cleaner transportation. These electric trucks, dedicated to transporting concentrates, underscore the company’s dedication to green and sustainable operations.
With a charging capacity of 20 to 100 per cent in 90 minutes, these vehicles mark a notable advancement in Hindustan Zinc’s decarbonization efforts, according to CEO Arun Misra.
The collaboration aligns with the company’s vision for responsible and eco-conscious operations, placing them proudly at the forefront of sustainable practices in the industry.
