Tata Motors Launches e-Cargo Transport Solutions With The All-New Ace EV

In a bid to promote the widespread adoption of eco-friendly transportation across India, MoEVing has successfully deployed 100 units of the innovative Tata Ace EV within a record time of 90 days. This achievement not only reflects the growing acceptance of electric vehicles (EVs) in India’s last-mile logistics but also highlights the pivotal role of EVs in advancing the nation towards a sustainable and economically robust future. The strategic deployment of the Tata Ace EV, India’s most advanced zero-emission four-wheel small commercial vehicle, across diverse customer segments, signifies a crucial shift in urban freight and logistics, aligning with the goal of establishing 100 smart cities in the country.

Vikash Mishra, the Founder and CEO of MoEVing, stated, “This achievement underscores our commitment to developing sustainable EV-driven logistics solutions for India. The swift deployment of Tata Ace EVs, backed by our customers and partners, signifies a significant move towards a logistics sector free from emissions. This aligns with the national vision, projecting potential savings of up to 4% in GDP logistics costs and a CO2 reduction of 10 GT by 2030. Within just 90 days, MoEVing has successfully deployed 100 Tata Ace EVs, showcasing their effectiveness and suitability for the diverse logistics needs in India. Operating across major cities and serving various sectors, these EVs represent a strategic move towards greener and more efficient urban freight solutions. Deployed with over 10 customers in cities like Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and more, these vehicles cater to sectors ranging from FMCG and e-commerce to oil and gas. The choice of Tata Ace EV as a green and smart transport solution, designed for a wide variety of intra-city applications, perfectly aligns with India’s complex logistics demands.

Since its establishment in 2021, MoEVing’s vision of an all-electric delivery fleet has rapidly materialised, with over 2000 electric vehicles deployed and 30 charging hubs established. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors to deploy 5000 Tata Ace EVs by 2025 underscores the scalable commitment of both entities. Feedback from extensive vehicle pilots has played a crucial role in the commercial rollout earlier this year, highlighting the synergy between technological advancement and operational excellence.
