Altigreen Launches ‘neEV Tez’ Electric Three-Wheeler In India

Altigreen, a commercial electric vehicle manufacturer, has introduced its new neEV Tez in New Delhi, claiming it to be the world’s fastest-charging 3-wheeler.

The neEV Tez offers a unique 3-in-one charging system, allowing users to choose between normal, fast, and rapid charging options. It charges from 0 to 100% at Exponent’s e^pump rapid charging network, takes just 1 hour at any Bharat DCOO1 charging station, or 3.5 hours with a standard 220V/16A AC socket. The vehicle also comes with a 5-year standard warranty.

Debashis Mitra, Director Sales, Service, and Marketing at Altigreen, emphasized the groundbreaking rapid charging capabilities of neEV Tez, making it ideal for last-mile delivery and offering flexible charging options to vehicle owners.

Altigreen’s neEV Tez aims to cater to the growing demand for efficient last-mile delivery services and provides options for en-route charging via DC network, home charging via a 16 Amp plug, and rapid charging through Exponent’s e^pump rapid charging network.

This innovative offering with 3-in-one charging options is set to enhance vehicle utilization and maximize earnings for customers. Altigreen also highlighted the increasing adoption of electric vehicles in Delhi, particularly in the L5 Cargo segment, where electrification has exceeded 50%.

Altigreen’s partnership with Magenta Mobility, including the delivery of 200 neEV Tez vehicles, aligns with the shared vision for sustainable and efficient electric mobility in India.

The neEV Tez is designed to address efficiency and operational challenges for electric vehicle fleet operators, providing a 5-year warranty and a battery with a 3000-cycle life warranty with 100% rapid charging.

This industry-first offering is expected to increase productivity and earnings for users by enabling two shifts with the same vehicle, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable future for transportation and delivery needs in India.
