BYD India, a subsidiary of the world’s leading New Energy Vehicles (NEV) manufacturer, has joined forces with OHM E Logistics, a prominent electric cab aggregator, cargo leasing App platform, and fleet management business. Together, they are embarking on a mission to introduce 300 All-New e6 electric passenger vehicles throughout India within the next six months. This collaboration signifies a significant leap towards eco-friendly transportation in key regions of the country.
The inaugural batch of e6 vehicles was officially handed over in the presence of notable figures such as Mr. Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business at BYD India, Mr. Shrirang Joshi, National Sales Head of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business at BYD India, Mr. Nirmal Reddy, Founder and Chairman of OHM E Logistics, Mrs. K Sarala, Director of OHM E Logistics, and Mr. Sunil Jain, Investor Director of OHM E Logistics, alongside key representatives from both BYD India and OHM E Logistics.
In the upcoming six months, BYD India is committed to delivering 300 state-of-the-art BYD All-New e6 vehicles to OHM E Logistics, underscoring their dedication to sustainable mobility and a reduced carbon footprint in urban areas. The initial phase of this groundbreaking initiative involves the deployment of 50 advanced BYD All-New e6 vehicles, which commenced operations in the bustling city of Hyderabad. This significant milestone demonstrates the collaborative efforts of both companies in offering cleaner and more efficient transportation solutions for cities including Delhi, Mangalore, Goa, Tirupati, and more, catering to premium fleet services.
