West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has taken a significant step towards promoting electric mobility and sustainable transportation by inviting tenders for the supply, installation, operation, and management of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations and Battery Swapping Stations. This move aligns with the company’s commitment to environmental conservation and the transition to clean energy solutions.
The scope of the project involves establishing these EV infrastructure facilities at 47 locations situated on WBSETCL’s own land. The initiative aims to enhance the accessibility and convenience of EV charging and battery swapping for electric vehicle users across the region.
To ensure commitment, participants must provide an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) based on the number of locations for which they are bidding. The EMD varies, ranging from Rs. 36,500.00 for a single location to different rates for various location brackets.
The submission deadline for bids is scheduled until 20.09.2023, at 12:00 Hrs.
