Ola Electric, a manufacturer of electric vehicles, has initiated the delivery process for the newly launched S1 Air, their most affordable electric scooter model.
Shortly after its launch, the company reported an overwhelming response, with over 50,000 bookings received for this electric vehicle. Initially introduced at a base price of Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), the pricing was subsequently adjusted to Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The company has already initiated deliveries in more than 100 cities across the nation, and additional cities are expected to join the list in the near future. The S1 Air model incorporates a 3.0 kWh battery pack and an 8.5 kW motor that delivers 58 Nm of torque.
Ola Electric claims an impressive range of 151 km on a single charge, boasting acceleration from 0 to 40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds and a maximum speed capped at 90 kmph. It takes less than 5 hours to fully charge.
The S1 Air has some amazing features including rear twin shock absorbers, telescopic front fork, twin projector headlamps, drum brakes on both ends, and a 7-inch FT dashboard equipped with GPS and smartphone connectivity.
The S1 Air model offers a variety of color options, such as Stellar Blue, Neon, Porcelain White, Coral Glam, Liquid Silver, and Midnight Blue. It offers three variant riding modes: Normal, Eco, and Sport.
