Having successfully produced over 5 million New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) on a global scale, BYD has secured the distinction of being the foremost automaker to reach this remarkable achievement, culminating in an impressive mitigation of 38 billion kilograms of carbon emissions. In the context of India, the company has played a pivotal role in curbing environmental impact by facilitating a reduction of 274 million kilograms of CO2 emissions. This positive influence has been realized through the deployment of BYD’s electric passenger vehicles, electric forklifts, electric trucks, and electric buses—powered by the cutting-edge amalgamation of BYD’s battery, powertrain, and chassis technologies.A highlight among these accomplishments is the substantial mileage covered by BYD’s electric buses in India, collectively surpassing an impressive 126,883,681 kilometers.
