A joint venture between ITC Ltd. & Jodhana Heritage Resorts Pvt. Ltd., WelcomHeritage Hotels partners with SunFuel Electric to install charging stations in its hotels across India, SunFuel Electric is a leading EV charging player.
The agreement was signed by Ms. Gul Panag, co-founder at SunFuel, and Mr. Abinash Manghani, CEO of WelcomHeritage.
WelcomHeritage Hotels CEO Abinash Manghani shared details about the groundbreaking initiative and future plans. “By the end of the year, we aim to offer our guests a responsible drivable itinerary from Delhi to our properties at Kasauli, Solan, Panchkula, and Shimla.” Our guests will enjoy the stunning drives to these WelcomHeritage destinations, without worrying about accessing EV charging stations.”
He emphasized the brand’s commitment to sustainability and stated that “We are committed actively to supporting responsible holidays and that Electric Vehicles were an integral part of the sustainability narrative.”

He said that electric car adoption requires a visible charging infrastructure. “Our slick chargers will be visible to guests in high-visibility areas of the hotel span, thanks to our agreement with WelcomHeritage.”
Additionally, EV charging stations will be installed at WelcomHeritage Cheetahgarh Resort & Spa, Jawai (Rajasthan), and WelcomHeritage Tadoba Vanya Villas Resort & Spa, Maharashtra.
