EMotorad Unveils Its New Range Of Electric Bikes In India

EMotorad officially revealed a range of premium and economical electric bikes. This includes Nighthawk, Desert Eagle, Xplorer+, and X-Factor line. The XFactor range costs Rs 24,999 while the premium range costs Rs 4.75 lakh. The Elite range of EMotorad electric bikes is the most costly range and incorporates technology in a state-of-the-art frame. Exact Actuation technology eliminates shifting variation and slop from electric bikes.

Log9 Raises $40 Million In The Series B Funding

Log9, an advanced deep-tech battery start-up has raised a fresh round of capital worth $40 Mn as a part of its Series B Funding. The start-up witnessed a mix of equity and debt raise led by Amara Raja Batteries Ltd. and Petronas Ventures and saw participation from other marquee investors such as Incred Financial Services Private Ltd., Unity Small Finance Bank, Oxyzo Financial Services Private Ltd., and Western Capital Advisors Private Ltd. Tata Motors Partners With ICICI Bank To Offer Financing For Electric Vehicle Dealers

As an effort towards encouraging Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption in the country, Tata Motors, India’s leading automotive manufacturer, has announced its partnership with ICICI Bank to offer an EV Dealer Financing solution to its authorised passenger EV dealers. Under this scheme, ICICI Bank will provide inventory funding to the authorised passenger EV dealers of Tata Motors. This inventory funding is in addition to the Bank’s funding to dealers for diesel and petrol models. Under this facility, EV dealers can avail of flexible repayment tenures.

Statiq Signs An Agreement With Zoomcar To Boost EV Travel In India

Statiq signs a deal with Zoomcar, allowing electric vehicle owners and hosts to share their income with guests on Zoomcar. Statiq released a press release stating that the Delhi NCR region would serve as a pilot area for the agreement. This would then be followed by expansions to Mumbai and Bangalore among other places. Statiq CEO and co-founder Akshit Bansal noted that this collaboration will give the needed impetus for the EV charging ecosystem. He said that it will also increase the popularity of EVs even within non-EV owners and foster a culture of clean mobility.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Launches Activa 2023; To Launch Its First Electric Scooter In 2024

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, the undisputed leader of the scooter segment, unveiled smarter and more advanced Activa 2023, HMSI’s first OBD2-compliant two-wheeler, much ahead of the April 2023 deadline. Atsushi Ogata, the CEO, managing director, and president of the company spoke at the launch event. He said that multiple products are being developed in the electric vehicle market, with the debut of the first model anticipated to take place in March next year.
