Ather Energy, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer, said that it has plans to establish 150 fast-charging grids within Tamil Nadu before the end of this financial year.
In an effort to increase its retail presence in the state, the company has recently opened its first experience center in Salem. Ather Energy now has nine retail outlets in Tamil Nadu.
According to a statement from the company, “There are plans for expanding its retail footprint to 15 stores and adding 150 fast-charging grids to the state by end of the current financial year.”
“Ather Energy has received positive feedback from all over the state about its scooters. Ather Energy’s chief business officer Ravneet Singh Phokela stated that Tamil Nadu has a high rate of EV adoption and growing acceptance of high-end electric two-wheelers.
“We have built an electric vehicle that is reliable, efficient, and high-quality from the ground up. We have also invested strategically in the infrastructure to support it.” He said that we have been growing rapidly to meet the demand for the Ather 450X, and have exciting plans for Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu is a highly-demanded market for electric scooters, with Ather Energy reporting a 49% quarter-on-quarter increase.
