Ola Electric rolls out the 100,000th scooter (electric) from its all-women Futurefactory in Krishnagiri (Tamil Nadu). The company claims that it reached this milestone within 10 months after its production began.

As the pace of the transition to electric vehicles increases, the next one lakh will arrive in half the time. India is moving closer to Mission Electric becoming a reality than ever, stated Bhavish Aggarwal Ola Electric CEO and Founder.

He stated, “Since embarking upon our journey towards electrification in India, we have unlocked its potential by offering customers a superior product and experience to what any petrol alternative could offer. This is only the beginning.”

On Diwali, the start-up launched the all-new Ola S1 Air at Rs 84,999. The D2C sector has seen the company expand. Ola already has 50 experience centres operating across the country. The company plans to open 200 more centres in different formats by March 2019.
