Atlis Motor Vehicles (ATLIS), a start-up technology company that develops electric work trucks and the motors and batteries to drive them. The Company recently announced it had signed a memorandum with INDe EV Limited in East Sussex, U.K. to create an electric van. ATLIS will produce 500 30 KWh batteries that will be delivered to INDe EV’s new vans in December 2023.
ATLIS is creating its own battery packs and cells to power electric vehicles with a range of 300, 400 and 500 miles. These batteries will be among the fastest in the market to charge in under 15 minutes.
Tony Hayes (managing director, INDe EV) stated that “ATLIS technological breakthroughs regarding battery cell efficiency, battery management systems, and battery management system stand out and that ATLIS batteries were the logical choice to develop this new van and create more jobs locally.”
ATLIS started the development of AMV batteries cells at its Mesa headquarters in Arizona in June 2021. ATLIS has its own battery supply chain and is building batteries in-house. This allows it to offer ultra-fast charging battery solutions to companies that are struggling to get their share from the top battery suppliers.
