Omega Seiki Mobility, a Delhi-based e-mobility company launches the Stream electric three-wheeler and with this enters into the passenger electric vehicle segment. It is priced at Rs 3.40 Lakh ex-showroom in Delhi and includes government subsidies.
The new Stream electric three-wheeler has a 10 kW drivetrain, which delivers 535 Nm torque and can climb up to 10.2-degrees.
The new OSM Stream’s lithium-ion battery is IP65-rated. This means it is protected from water and dust, and the motor is IP67 rated. OSM claims the Stream can travel 110 km with a fully charged battery pack. It can be charged via a 16-A socket.
Omega Seiki Mobility invested USD 12-15million in the development of the Stream. The company also plans to export the e3W to ASEAN, Africa, and Latin America. The company plans to sell 35,000-40,000 units in 2023 out of which 60% of domestic sales is expected.
