Hyderabad-headquartered BikeWo has announced the launch of its flagship multi-brand electric two-wheeler dealerships pan India, starting with Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Today, 25 dealers were appointed by the company. 15 new dealerships have been opened in Hyderabad, Kurnool and Gadwal. BikeWo has partnered to display and sell e-2W EVs in its showrooms with a number of renowned brands, including Hayasa and EV Minda. BikeWo has the exclusive rights to sell electric-2Ws from Hayasa (and EV Minda) in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

BikeWo also announced ambitious plans to expand its multi-brand dealership business model over the coming months and years. The current year, i.e. BikeWo expects to open at most 140 stores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by 2022. They plan to expand aggressively to 5-6 additional states in 2023 and appoint 500+ dealers by that year’s end. BikeWo plans to have over 2,000 dealerships in 20 states by 2026.

BikeWo Co-Founder Mr. Vidhyasagar Rddy said that “We at BikeWo were delighted and proud to open our new dealerships in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana; it is our first step towards building a national presence with BikeWo flagship stores. Bikewo hopes to become the Indian distributor for all EV brands by expanding its dealerships. This will allow customers to choose from a variety of brands and models, as well as charging stations, infrastructure, spares, warranties and insurance. In the past, only one brand of vehicles was sold in a showroom. However, with India’s growing demand for EV 2WDs and the existence of more than 300+ OEMs, it is almost impossible for every OEM to have a sustainable and profitable distribution network. The customer today is overwhelmed by the number of brands and options that are available to them. Bikewo will try to address these needs through its stores.

BikeWo has been working tirelessly to promote EVs in India. Newly opened showrooms feature a variety of e-2W models from India’s top two-wheeler EV brands. They also offer customers friendly package deals, buying, financing, insurance assistance, and many other services. BikeWo’s dealer stores will allow customers to not only choose from a variety of low-cost, maintenance-free EVs or the most expensive, but also receive the best deals, access to charging stations and infrastructure, and even experience/test ride the model before they make a purchase. BikeWo will soon launch a variety of ATL and BTL marketing campaigns to attract customers to its showrooms. They will also launch an app to keep customers engaged.
