BYD India Ties Knot With Chargezone, Indipro, And Volttic To Set Up EV Charging Infrastructure

BYD India ties the knot with three companies i.e., Chargezone, Indipro, and Volttic to set up electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in India for its EVs. In this partnership, the companies will be expanding their charging networks.

“This tie-up is to address the changing needs of the company’s electric multi-purpose vehicle, e6 across multiple cities and major highways in the country,” the company said.

“With convenient charging stations across major cities and highways, we will be supporting our customers in a smooth and happy electric driving experience,” BYD India Senior Vice President, Electric Passenger Vehicle Business, Sanjay Gopalakrishnan said.

He added, “This is a key step towards strengthening our EV journey in the country. Chargezone, and Indipro are key players in electric vehicle charging infrastructure in India.”

Chargezone currently has around 650 charging stations in 25 cities. Chargezone will provide a charging network to BYD India customers on National Highways.

Volttic, EV charging Solutions & Services has more than 200 EV charging points in the country. IndiPro EV Charging will provide EV charging facilities in India for BYD e6 customers.
