Log9 Materials Partners with Indeanta Ventures, to Deploy 15,000 plus RapidEVs Nationwide

Bengaluru-headquartered advanced battery-technology and deep-technology startup Log9 Materials has announced entering into a long-term partnership, initiated through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing with electric-mobility-as-a-service solutions provider Indeanta Ventures Pvt. Ltd. will supply Log9’s RapidX battery solution (RapidX) to its 2 and 3 wheeler electric vehicle platforms.

Log9 and Indeanta have partnered together to jointly deploy more than 15,000 RapidEVs, which include 2-wheeler EVs and 3-wheeler EVs, powered by Log9’s InstaCharge technology. This will take place in India’s cities of Bengaluru and Hyderabad as well as Chennai, Pune, Chennai and Kolkata. A large number of these RapidEVs will be equipped with cargo EV fleets that are used for last-mile delivery and logistics.

Indeanta Ventures will deploy the 3-Wheeler RapidEVs that use Log9’s future-facing InstaCharge technology in the near future to fulfill their existing contracts with Porter and Flipkart as well as Amazon. Indeanta Ventures is now under the aegis Log9’s Responsible Delivery Movement – a unique initiative that aims to accelerate emobility adoption for last mile deliveries and reduce India’s transportation and logistics-related emissions by as much as 33% by 2030.

Kartik Hajela, co-founder and COO of Log9 Materials, spoke out about the collaboration. “We are happy that we have announced a collaboration with Indeanta. Our goal is to mainly integrate their electric vehicles at scale with Log9’s batteries, which will in turn go a long ways in minimizing downtime of these cars, optimizing delivery times, and most importantly, offer Power, Performance, and Peace of Mind for the end-users. The strategic partnership will also strengthen the market positioning and expansion of both companies and allow them to scale up across India and around the globe over the long-term. Log9 and Indeanta are working together to make India’s delivery and logistics system more sustainable and responsible.

Aaron Dsouza is the founder and CEO of Indeanta Ventures. He stated, “We feel strongly that we have a duty to protect our environment and reduce our dependence upon exported EV batteries cells. We decided to partner Log9 because we believe they are doing excellent work in this area. Log9 will now provide its climate-friendly, safe fast-charging batteries to our delivery fleet of 3-wheeler and 2-wheeler electric vehicles through this partnership.

Indeanta is India’s first multimodal electric-mobility-as-a-service provider that provides end-to-end electric mobility services to its clients on multiple platforms with a versatile and easy-to-use mobile application. The company focuses primarily on in-campus electric mobility, battery swapping and charging infrastructure, as well as fleet services. Their mission is to assist Indian logistics and delivery service providers in transitioning their fleets to electric. They have been present in 5 Indian cities since their inception, just over a year ago. Currently, Indeanta has more than 200 EVs on both its In-campus and logistics-delivery models.
