BYD launches HAN EV in Colombia. Also, the Colombian government has announced 27 strategic renewable energy and power transmission projects to power the growth of the green energy industry.

Colombian President Iván Duque announced the country set a goal of 600,000 electric vehicles on the road by 2030. Moreover, in COP 26, the Colombian government has made it clear that Colombia aims to cut green gas emissions by 51% by 2030.
So far, BYD has orders for more than 1,550 battery-electric buses in Colombia, comprising over 96.5% of the country’s electric bus market and 99% of the market in the capital city, Bogota.
