EMO Energy has entered into a strategic partnership with electric two-wheeler manufacturer e-Sprinto to deploy 8,000 electric scooters across India during the current financial year, targeting commercial mobility applications in the quick-commerce and last-mile delivery sectors.

The deployment will integrate e-Sprinto’s electric scooter platforms with EMO Energy’s ZenPac liquid-cooled battery technology, designed to support high-utilisation fleet operations. The partnership aims to improve vehicle reliability, uptime and energy efficiency for commercial EV users operating across demanding urban environments.

The 8,000 scooters will comprise both low-speed and high-speed models from e-Sprinto and will be rolled out in phases across multiple Indian cities. The vehicles are expected to support delivery partners and commercial fleet operators in India’s expanding quick-commerce and last-mile delivery ecosystem.

EMO Energy’s ZenPac platform combines liquid cooling, active thermal management, battery intelligence and energy optimisation capabilities. The system is integrated with the company’s charging infrastructure and battery intelligence platform to enable real-time monitoring, predictive insights and improved energy utilisation across fleet operations.

The battery system is designed to address the operational requirements of commercial electric mobility, including multiple charging cycles, extended operating hours and challenging urban conditions. The companies said the integration of their respective technologies is intended to create a scalable energy and mobility solution for high-utilisation fleets.

Sheetanshu Tyagi, Co-founder and CEO of EMO Energy, said the partnership combines e-Sprinto’s vehicle platforms with EMO Energy’s battery technology, intelligence layer and charging infrastructure to build an energy ecosystem suited to commercial mobility requirements.

Atul Gupta, Founder and Chairman of e-Sprinto, said the collaboration brings together the companies’ complementary capabilities to develop electric mobility solutions focused on the scale and reliability requirements of commercial fleets.

EMO Energy Expands Commercial EV Footprint

The partnership builds on EMO Energy’s growing presence in commercial electric mobility. During the first quarter of the financial year, EMO-powered fleets covered 93.69 million kilometres, facilitated 18.74 million deliveries and consumed 2,810.7 MWh of energy.

The company’s operating fleet also expanded from 15,800 vehicles in April to more than 19,000 vehicles by June, indicating increased adoption of its energy systems across commercial electric mobility applications.

The planned deployment of 8,000 additional e-Sprinto electric scooters is expected to further expand EMO Energy’s footprint in India’s commercial EV and last-mile mobility segment.
