Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast reported strong domestic sales momentum in May 2026, delivering 19,503 electric vehicles (EVs) in Vietnam and bringing its year-to-date total to 97,961 units.
The milestone reinforces VinFast’s position as a leading player in Vietnam’s automotive market, with cumulative deliveries approaching 100,000 vehicles in just the first five months of the year.
The company’s Limo Green remained its best-selling model in May, accounting for 5,108 deliveries. The compact VF 3 followed with 4,770 units delivered. VinFast stated that its preliminary delivery figures are subject to change following year-end audits and may differ from the final number recognized as vehicle sales revenue.
A subsidiary of Vingroup JSC, VinFast has expanded beyond Vietnam into key markets across Asia, North America, and Europe. The company offers a growing portfolio of electric SUVs, e-scooters, e-bikes, and e-buses as part of its mission to accelerate the transition toward sustainable mobility.
The latest delivery update comes as VinFast continues to broaden its product lineup and strengthen its presence in regional and global EV markets, underscoring the company’s ambitions to become a major force in the global electric transportation industry.
