VinFast has reported strong electric vehicle delivery growth in Vietnam, announcing 24,774 EV deliveries in April 2026 as the company continues to strengthen its leadership in the country’s rapidly expanding electric mobility market.
According to the company’s latest delivery update released on May 12, year-to-date deliveries in Vietnam have reached 78,458 units, highlighting sustained consumer demand across multiple vehicle segments. The performance reinforces VinFast’s dominant position in the domestic automotive industry as competition intensifies in Southeast Asia’s EV sector.
The company’s best-performing model in April was the VinFast Limo Green, which recorded 6,480 deliveries during the month. The compact VinFast VF 3 followed closely with 5,273 units delivered, continuing its popularity among urban consumers seeking affordable electric mobility solutions.
VinFast also reported combined deliveries of 4,732 units for the VinFast VF 5 and its derivative model, the Herio Green. Meanwhile, the VinFast VF 6 contributed 2,704 deliveries, while the recently launched VinFast VF MPV 7 reached 2,526 units. The premium-oriented VinFast VF 7 added 1,148 deliveries during the month.
Over the first four months of 2026, the Limo Green and VF 3 emerged as VinFast’s strongest-performing models, with cumulative deliveries of 18,951 and 15,461 units respectively. The company also delivered more than 13,000 VF 5 and Herio Green vehicles during the same period.
VinFast stated that the delivery figures remain preliminary and may change following year-end audits and revenue recognition adjustments. The company emphasized that vehicle deliveries alone should not be viewed as a direct indicator of quarterly financial performance.
Backed by Vingroup, VinFast has been aggressively expanding its electric vehicle lineup while growing its presence across Asia, North America, and Europe. In addition to electric SUVs, the company manufactures electric scooters, buses, and e-bikes as part of its broader strategy to accelerate global EV adoption.
The latest delivery numbers arrive as VinFast continues to scale production and strengthen its footprint in international markets, positioning itself as one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing EV brands.
