Ashok Leyland has announced a major order for 715 vehicles from VRL Logistics, further strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two companies.
The order includes Ashok Leyland’s AVTR 3120 haulage trucks, BOSS 1615 trucks, and Oyster staff buses. According to the company, 300 vehicles have already been delivered, while the remaining 415 units are scheduled for delivery within the current year.
The agreement marks another milestone in the decades-long collaboration between the commercial vehicle manufacturer and one of India’s leading logistics operators.
Anand Sankeshwar said VRL Logistics continues to place strong trust in Ashok Leyland’s vehicle quality, reliability, and after-sales support.
“We have absolute confidence in the quality, reliability, and performance of Ashok Leyland trucks,” Sankeshwar said. He added that the company’s expanding service network and technological innovation provide operational advantages that support higher logistics efficiency.
Madhavi Deshmukh described the order as a reflection of the strong relationship between the two companies and their collaboration in developing products tailored to the logistics industry.
“This order win is a testament to the trust and confidence VRL Logistics has in Ashok Leyland’s technology and performance,” Deshmukh said. She added that the company remains focused on delivering advanced, safe, and efficient mobility solutions for evolving customer needs.
