Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, has launched its most advanced electric three-wheeler, the Mahindra UDO, aiming to transform last-mile transportation with futuristic design, enhanced comfort, and high performance.

Inspired by an airplane-inspired “autoplane” design concept, the Mahindra UDO features a segment-first full monocoque construction, sleek styling, and a large windshield for improved road presence. The company claims the new e-auto offers unmatched comfort with a thick “pilot seat” for the driver and first-class passenger seating, along with generous legroom and headroom.

Mahindra said the UDO delivers a real-world driving range of up to 200 km and an ARAI-certified range of 265 km, powered by an 11.7 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 10 kW PMS motor producing 52 Nm of torque. The vehicle comes with tri-mode driving options—Range, Ride, and Race—and features regenerative braking, reverse throttle, hill-hold assist, and creep mode to enhance drivability and efficiency.

In terms of safety, the UDO is equipped with powerful drum brakes, tubeless tyres, and an IP67-rated battery and drivetrain, ensuring reliability in extreme weather conditions. Mahindra is offering a warranty of up to six years or 1.5 lakh km, along with free services up to 1 lakh km and a ₹20 lakh accidental insurance cover under its UDAY NXT scheme.

The Mahindra UDO is priced at ₹3.84 lakh (ex-showroom), with an introductory limited-period price of ₹3.58 lakh. The vehicle is manufactured at Mahindra’s Zaheerabad facility, which features automated battery assembly and robotised production lines.

Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, said the launch marks a decisive step towards electrifying last-mile mobility, improving driver dignity, and setting new benchmarks for safety, comfort, and performance in the category.
