Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., has once again asserted its dominance in the electric vehicle (EV) commercial segment, closing FY2024-25 with a commanding 37.3% market share in the L5 category — making it the market leader for the fourth consecutive year.
Driven by its flagship models Treo and Zor Grand, MLMML has played a pivotal role in accelerating EV adoption in India’s commercial mobility space. The segment saw EV penetration rise to 24.2% in FY25, a sharp jump from 16.9% in FY24, underlining the sector’s growing shift towards sustainable mobility.
Historic Milestones Achieved:
- First company in India to sell over 2 lakh commercial EVs
- Crossed 1 lakh unit sales of the Treo, India’s top-selling electric auto
- Launch of the Treo with a metal body and Mahindra ZEO, the company’s first 4-wheeler electric small commercial vehicle (SCV)
Speaking on the success, the company emphasized its commitment to innovation and sustainability, stating that the Mahindra ZEO marks a significant step in expanding its leadership from 3-wheeler to 4-wheeler electric cargo solutions.
