VinFast has announced the completion of its strategic restructuring into three distinct automotive brand lines and unveiled two new flagship ultra-luxury models, the Lac Hong 800S and Lac Hong 900S.

The move formalizes VinFast’s three-tier brand architecture, comprising the Lac Hong ultra-luxury marque, the VF mass-market electric passenger vehicle range, and the Green commercial mobility brand.

Under the new structure, Lac Hong represents the pinnacle of the company’s portfolio, positioned as an ultra-luxury line inspired by Vietnamese cultural heritage. The collection now includes the 900 LX, 900S and 800S models. The VF lineup continues to span mass-market EV segments from VF 3 to VF 9, including the seven-seat VF MPV 7, while the Green brand focuses on commercial mobility solutions with models such as Limo Green, Herio Green, Nerio Green and Minio Green.

The newly unveiled Lac Hong 800S and 900S expand the ultra-luxury portfolio following the introduction of the 900 LX in 2025, including an advanced armored variant.

According to the company, both models integrate design elements inspired by Vietnam’s cultural identity. Exterior features include a grille with vertical slats symbolizing bamboo resilience and a wing-shaped emblem representing the Lac bird. Decorative motifs referencing the Dong Son bronze drum and terraced rice fields are incorporated throughout the exterior and interior design. The “Lac Hong” wordmark is rendered in gold-plated alloy as part of the brand’s signature detailing.

Inside, the vehicles are appointed with Nappa leather, rare woods and gold-plated accents. Ultra-luxury amenities include zero-gravity executive seating, automatic power-assisted doors and premium entertainment systems. The Lac Hong 900S further features a privacy partition, starlight headliner, large-format projection system and a foldable executive workstation for rear passengers.

Both models are equipped with a fully active suspension system and can be configured with a tri-motor powertrain delivering up to 460 kW of combined output, positioning them competitively within the global ultra-luxury EV segment.

Commercial launch of the Lac Hong 800S and 900S is scheduled for 2027.

Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Automotives at VinFast, stated that the completion of the three-brand structure marks the foundation for the company’s next phase of structured and breakthrough-driven growth. She added that the new models reflect VinFast’s technological and manufacturing capabilities while reinforcing national pride and cultural identity.

To date, VinFast has introduced more than 15 electric vehicle models and has maintained a leading market position in Vietnam for 16 consecutive months. In 2025, the company delivered 175,099 vehicles domestically, setting a national sales record and consolidating its status as Vietnam’s leading automotive brand.
