CRRC Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. (CRRC EV), a subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Ltd., unveiled two next-generation all-electric buses and introduced its Digital & Intelligent Low-Carbon Urban Transportation System Solution at the Busworld Europe 2025 Congress in Brussels. The showcase reinforces CRRC EV’s position as a leader in new energy commercial vehicle systems, clean energy integration, and full value-chain innovation.

The EU12C premium all-electric coach, designed for long-distance and high-end travel, features an 800-V architecture, 480 kW peak power, and 5,100 N·m torque—capable of handling grades above 30%. With a sleek aerodynamic design and advanced powertrain, it offers a range of up to 550 km per charge and supports ultra-fast charging for reduced downtime. The ED12 double-decker bus, built with a lightweight high-speed rail aluminum-alloy body, can carry 126 passengers and delivers up to 560 km of range under ESORT conditions. It also incorporates a 10-layer battery safety system and is designed for a 20-year service life.

Complementing its vehicles, CRRC EV’s System introduces a four-tier integrated approach to smart urban transit:

  • Smart Cloud Brain (TOCC): A central data platform using AI, IoT, and big data for real-time decision-making and precision fleet management.
  • Urban MaaS: AI-driven scheduling, on-demand ride-hailing, and smart maintenance; demonstrated in Zhuzhou’s “Yunshang Bus” pilot, which achieved over ten times the revenue of fixed-route services.
  • Smart Logistics: Integrates passenger and freight transport to cut last-mile delivery costs by 50% and boost efficiency by 40%.
  • Green Infrastructure: Supports vehicle-road-cloud integration with SL3 perception, enabling autonomous driving, smart traffic control, and connected services.

CRRC also highlighted its broader clean energy ecosystem. Its “wind-solar-hydrogen-vehicle” initiatives generate 32.5 billion kilowatt-hours of renewable energy annually and cut 40 million tons of CO₂ emissions. Together, these advances demonstrate CRRC’s commitment to shaping sustainable, intelligent urban mobility systems worldwide.
