JSW Motors and KPIT Technologies have announced a strategic partnership aimed at revolutionizing the future of mobility in India. The collaboration will focus on leveraging KPIT’s deep-rooted expertise in software and systems development to support JSW Motors’ ambitious plans in the electric and hybrid vehicle space.

KPIT, a global leader in mobility technologies with experience across over 2,000 vehicle programs including several Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) initiatives, will play a key role in developing next-generation automotive software and electric propulsion systems for JSW Motors. The partnership also signals KPIT’s growing commitment to the Indian market, as it prepares to establish a dedicated Center of Excellence for JSW Motors.

JSW Motors, a newly launched vertical of the JSW Group, has committed an investment of US$3 billion over the next five years to develop and manufacture electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Its first New Energy Vehicle (NEV) is expected to hit Indian roads in the second half of FY2026. A 630-acre integrated automotive hub is currently under development in Bidkin, Maharashtra, to support these efforts.
