Kinetic Green has recently delivered 130 E-Luna vehicles to BigBasket in Pune for commercial use. These electric vehicles will be operated by Safe and Secure Delivery Solutions, the official delivery partner of BigBasket.
The inclusion of E-Luna in the fleet brings various advantages, including a reduced carbon footprint, lower operational costs compared to petrol vehicles, and minimized downtime.
A notable feature of the E-Luna is its compatibility with battery swapping, allowing delivery personnel to exchange depleted batteries for fully charged ones at designated stations. This feature enhances fleet efficiency and ensures timely deliveries.
Kinetic Green’s “E-Luna Fleet” program caters specifically to e-commerce companies like BigBasket, offering comprehensive solutions such as after-sales service, spare part availability through a network of over 350 dealerships, and real-time GPS tracking with vehicle performance diagnostics via the KG Connect platform. Moreover, the program provides a 5-year extended warranty, financing options, and partnerships for fast charging and battery swapping.
This collaboration underscores BigBasket’s ongoing commitment to sustainable practices, following their integration of electric scooters from Ampere Electric and Zypp Electric into their fleet. Kinetic Green foresees significant growth in the e-commerce and delivery sectors, projecting sales of over 50,000 E-Luna vehicles for the period of 2024-2025.
