Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd., a prominent electric vehicle manufacturer in India, is driving the growth of electric vehicles (EVs) in the country. The company showcased its vision for sustainable mobility at the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, featuring electric two-wheelers under the “Joy e-bike” brand and electric commercial vehicles labeled as “Joy e-rik.”
Highlighting their commitment to innovation, Wardwizard unveiled two High-Speed Electric Scooter concepts and four Electric Commercial Vehicles, including a 6-seater Golf Cart, Garbage Vehicle, E-Cart, and E-Loader Vehicle. Adding to the excitement, the company introduced next-gen hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyzer technology. The Hydrogen-based Fuel Cell Powered Scooter prototype exemplifies their pioneering venture into alternative cell chemistry, aiming to redefine clean and efficient mobility in India and globally.
While still in the research and development stage, the Hydrogen-based fuel cell concept is a significant stride toward meeting the needs of the next generation. Once fully developed, the technology will be applied across various segments, including utility vehicles, as part of a collaborative effort with Triton EV.
Speaking at the summit, Mr. Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd., expressed gratitude to the Government of Gujarat for providing a platform to showcase their vision for sustainable mobility. He emphasized the company’s commitment to making EVs accessible for everyone, foreseeing them as a necessity in the near future. Gupte highlighted innovation as their core strength, believing that the showcased concept EVs would revolutionize the segment, fulfilling customer demand for comfortable and safe mobility.
The company’s partnership with A&S Power focuses on advancing Next-Generation Li-ion cell technology, including the manufacturing of GAJA Cells, which will be presented alongside other concepts during the summit.
Underlining their commitment to the electric mobility sector, Wardwizard’s recent INR 2000 crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat has led to substantial investments in critical areas such as electric two and three-wheelers R&D, motor assembly facility establishment in Vadodara, Li-ion Cell production, and ancillary development for raw material manufacturing. This strategic initiative is anticipated to generate over 5,000 employment opportunities, making a significant impact on both the electric mobility sector and regional employment.
