Simple Energy is set to launch its Simple Dot One electric scooter in the Indian market on December 15, with pre-bookings opening on the same date.

Positioned as a sub-variant in the company’s electric two-wheeler lineup, the Simple Dot One was introduced after the recent unveiling of the Simple One model.

Aimed at enhancing the accessibility of electric scooters by offering a more affordable option, the Simple Dot One is considered a budget-friendly version of the Simple One.

While the official pricing will be revealed next month, it’s noteworthy that the Simple One model starts at ₹1.45 lakh (before taxes and incentives).

Sharing the platform with Simple One, the Simple Dot One features a fixed 3.7 kWh battery, claiming a certified range of 151 kilometers, specially-crafted tires for improved on-road range, 30 liters of under-seat storage, touchscreen instrument cluster, app connectivity, and deliveries are scheduled to commence from January 2024.
