Servotech Power Systems, a prominent manufacturer of electric vehicle (EV) chargers, has established a wholly-owned subsidiary, ‘Servotech EV Infra,’ to enter the electric vehicle charge point operator (CPO) sector. This new entity will serve as a CPO, installing EV charging stations across India.
Presently, Servotech supplies EV chargers to various oil marketing companies and EV charging station providers. With the introduction of its subsidiary, the company aims to enhance the EV charging infrastructure.
In its upcoming plans, Servotech Power Systems will manufacture and supply EV chargers to Servotech EV Infra, which will, in turn, operate these chargers as a charge point operator. It foresees rapid growth in the EV charging market in the coming years.
Servotech EV Infra aims to establish around 5,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the nation in the near future. This ambitious endeavor is designed to develop a strong EV charging infrastructure, playing a pivotal role in promoting sustainable transportation.
Raman Bhatia, the Founder and MD of Servotech Power Systems, commented, “Our company has consistently been a pioneer in innovating within the EV charging sector. The creation of Servotech EV Infra represents a natural progression in our ongoing journey. The recent expansion into the EV CPO business with Servotech EV Infra underscores our commitment to playing a significant role in advancing the EV infrastructure landscape to meet the growing demand for EVs in the country.”
