Eicher Trucks and Buses, a division of VE Commercial Vehicles Limited, have unveiled their strengthened collaboration with Safexpress, India’s leading logistics and supply chain organization that provides express distribution, third-party logistics (3PL), and consulting services to over 5000 clients nationwide. In a special ceremony commemorating this occasion, Safexpress welcomed its 100th Eicher truck into its fleet for the current fiscal year. Moreover, in a significant development stemming from this enduring partnership, Eicher Trucks and Buses proudly presented Safexpress with India’s maiden 5.5 T electric truck, the Eicher Pro 2055 EV. This initiative underscores Eicher Trucks and Buses’ dedication to partnering with customers to reduce the environmental impact associated with transportation, in alignment with the government’s Net-Zero vision.

The service package takes into account various factors, including the availability of charging infrastructure, operational requirements, charging time constraints, battery capacity, and overall energy management strategies for fleets. Additionally, the truck will be outfitted with Eicher’s advanced telematics solution and will benefit from My Eicher services.
