Lectrix EV, the electric mobility division of SAR Group, has introduced a fresh e-scooter model in India. The Lectrix LXS electric scooter, available in two variants, LXS G2.0 and LXS 3.0, is now available for booking at an initial price of Rs 97,999 (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the e-scooter will commence on August 16, 2023.
The LXS G2.0 is priced at Rs 1.03 lakh (ex-showroom), while the pricing for the LXS G3.0 is yet to be disclosed. The first 10,000 customers can avail of the Lectrix LXS G2.0 at the special introductory price. These e-scooters will be accessible in over 100 cities across India.
The Lectrix LXS G2.0 is equipped with a 2.3 kWh battery pack, while the LXS G3.0 boasts a 3 kWh unit. They offer a riding range of up to 80 km and 105 km on a single charge, respectively. These e-scooters have two riding modes, Eco & Power, and can reach a top speed of 60 kmph.
In terms of hardware, the new Lectrix LXS e-scooters feature telescopic front forks and coil spring shockers at the rear, along with drum brakes with CBS at both ends. They ride on sheet metal 10-inch wheels. Notably, the LXS electric scooters come with a range of useful features, including navigation assist, follow-me headlamps, keyless access, emergency SOS alert, and more.
