Omega Seiki Mobility Signs MoU with CABT To Deploy 500 OSM EVs For Last-mile Delivery

Omega Seiki Mobility to lease 1500 electric vehicles to CABT in the next three years, to enable mass adoption of EV’s in India

Omega Seiki Mobility, an Anglian Omega Group Company and Creativity at Best Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (CABT), technology-driven logistics service provider today announced a strategic partnership for leasing 500 Omega Seiki Mobility Electric Three Wheeler to CABT. Both the companies will expand this partnership to lease 1500 electric vehicles by the end of 2025. Through this deal, OSM Electric Fleet will support CABT growing customer base during a time when people continue to rely on receiving items they need quickly at their doorstep.

In India, the last-mile logistics sector in the e-commerce industry is anticipated to increase by 9 times to USD 5.23 billion in 2025. For small loads, 3W goods vehicles are fast becoming a preferred choice for last-mile delivery. Buoyed by this demand, OSM and CABT are working together in its mission of Pioneering Responsible Energy for last mile delivery. 

Talking on the Logistics Market Mr. Uday Narang, Founder and Chairman, Omega Seiki Mobility said, “Owing to the low total cost of ownership, the demand for leasing commercial electric vehicles is very robust which is further fuelled by ambitious electrification targets by large e-commerce companies amid the need for lower emission have led to an upsurge in demand of electric vehicles. The global commercial vehicle rental and leasing market size was valued at USD 77.42 billion in 2021. The market is projected to grow multi-fold over next 5 years.”

Commenting on the association Mr. Vivek Dhawan, Director Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, Omega Seiki Mobility said, “OSM Rage+ range of electric three wheelers has transformed last-mile delivery across India. OSM and CABT partnership will work towards organising the electric last mile delivery segment. CABT has a strong background of the sector and in the company we see a committed and able partner to deploy our state-of-the-art Rage+ electric three-wheelers.”

With this flag off, CABT Logistics will enable Fulfillment supports for E-Commerce, B2B, and B2C clients across a diverse range of industries. CABT intends to ease the logistical bottlenecks in electric mobility and provide integrated solutions for the Last Mile Distribution services. The Company aims to have at least 200 EVs by the end of 2022 and this partnership with OSM will help in meeting the desired target.
