India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp has launched electric scooters under Vida, its new EV subsidiary. The first ever electric scooter by the company, Vida V1 has been launched in India. Its price is Rs 1.45 lakh ex-showroom. The scooter claims to have a range of up to 165 km on a single charge.
Hero MotoCorp offers the Vida V1 scooter in two versions, Vida V1 Plus as well as Vida V1 Pro. Ex-showroom, they are priced at Rs 1.45 Lakh and Rs 1.59 Lakh, respectively. The bookings will open on October 10, for an amount of Rs 2,499, and deliveries will start in December 2022. It will initially be available in Delhi, Bengaluru and Jaipur.

These electric scooters have an 80 kmph top speed. The Vida V1 Plus has a range of 143km, while the Vida V1 Pro claims a range of 165km in ideal conditions. These electric scooters can be charged at a speed of 1.2 km per minute, while the Pro version can go 0-40 kmph within 3.2 seconds.
