Omega Seiki Mobility Launches Electric Three-Wheeler, Vicktor

Omega Seiki Mobility, a Delhi-based manufacturer of electric vehicles, has announced that the Vicktor model, priced at Rs 5 lakh ex-showroom, will be launched in India. According to the company, the price applies to the first 100 customers after government subsidy.

OSM Vicktor runs on a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It can travel up to 250 km per charge. Customers can choose between two versions of the electric three-wheeler: open or closed.

OSM dealers have begun booking the electric three-wheeler for Rs 9,999. Deliveries will begin in November 2022.

OSM stated in a statement that Vicktor’s three-wheeler will enable the company to achieve greater success in last-mile delivery vehicles. This vehicle will be able to meet the diverse logistics and delivery needs of the country’s e-commerce sector.

Uday Narang, Founder and Chairman, of Omega Seiki Mobility said, “The last mile delivery and logistics segment has seen a need for long-range premium electric vehicles to enable reliable and economical cargo transportation,”

“We are thrilled to launch the electric three-wheeler OSM Vicktor, which provides a range of 250 Km on a single charge. The vehicle demonstrates the latest technology and power-packed performance showcasing India on the world map,” he added.

“We will be soon launching more revolutionary electric vehicles at Auto Expo 2022.”, Narang further added.

According to the company, in order to produce EVs at a high production scale, it established JVs with Korean firm Jae Sung Tech to create a new variant of the powertrain. Omega Seiki Mobility plans to also manufacture its own motors and batteries.
