EVmatch is an electric vehicle sharing technology provider. It has announced a partnership with Wallbox, a leading provider in energy management and charging solutions. In this partnership they will focus on increasing charging accessibility and choice for EV drivers. Through an OCPP integration, customers can search for Wallbox chargers and charge them at home.

From the beginning of 2021, the U.S. saw an almost 69% increase in plug-in vehicle purchases. Both new and existing EV drivers will need reliable charging options that suit their lifestyles and budget.

Heather Hochrein, Founder & CEO of EVmatch, stated, “We founded EVmatch in an effort to overcome a major obstacle to EV adoption, the lack of reliable, convenient charging options for renters or apartment dwellers. Wallbox’s partnership with us will help to further our efforts to make charging reliable, accessible and affordable for all. We combine our flexible sharing software to open-source technologies to serve this industry in this crucial moment.”
